What's the split you used? 12 Prots, 10+1+1 Mysticism, 8+1 Earth?
I'd probably run this for some lulz. Maybe run 8+1 Wind for Mystic Healing instead of the Signet?

What i find wrong or strange is that the build has many monk skills....so the question is: why using a dervish if a monk can do it better??
Once i ran similar build in RA and was funny...we won for over 7/8 times til i met a mesmer that blocked me with [backfire] and preassure skills...
Basicly the build is not that bad, but as i said above: you are using too much monk skills that a real monk can use with more effectiveness.
Never tried derv/para support?
EDIT: i saw ppl using avatar of melandru + [draw conditions] [imbue health] [vital boon]+[signet of pious light] [watchful intervention] and res....i know that AoM it's 25 energy but wasn't a bad idea in places where you get a ton of conditions....

As I said, it's a messaround build. If I wanted to argue it's superiority over Monks, I would have presented an argument as to why.
Oh, and this is mainly for PvE.

You can go secondary Ritualist and play the Sabway N/Rt healer as D/Rt. With high Mysticism (15) and an Order-Dervish to fuel your mana it can heal just as good as the N/Rt and does not depend on dying minions.

The primary thought behind that was a flagrunner. You have immunity to Water-based snares outside of Frozen Burst and should be able to kite Cripshots or Pin Downs with Pious Haste. It's also not a serious bar.
And it's not a healing build primarily, it's a prot build primarily; only two skills heal and one of those two is a bit like a pre-prot. One of which strip VoS.
